Anouar Majid is Professor of English, founding director of the Center for Global Humanities, founding director of the Tangier Global Forum, vice president for Global Affairs at the University of New England and author of several books. His work has dealt with the place of Islam in the age of globalization and Muslim-Western relations since 1492.
