Jared Keyel , Ph.D., is a scholar of war, migration, and refugee resettlement based in New Jersey. His first book Resettled Iraqi Refugees in the United States: War, Refuge, Belonging, Participation, and Protest was published by Berghahn Books in 2023. Dr. Keyel’s research focuses on American wars and the responsibilities the United States has to address the harms caused by those conflicts.
