MILK Arabic laban لبن
The sale of milk in the udder is unlawful (Hidayah, vol. ii. p. 433). In the Qur’an it is mentioned as one of God’s special gifts. “Verily, ye have in cattle a lesson: we give you to drink from that. which is in their bellies betwixt chyme and blood—pure milk—easy to swallow for those who drink.” (Surah xvi. 68)
